What herbal remedy would be best for my dog?
He breathes fine normally but when he lays down or goes to sleep he sort of snuffles as if his nose is blocked.
He also had trouble with his ears in the Summer (I think pollen or something got in them, made them red and sore and he used to rub them against things). The vet gave us canadural drops but they didn’t work, and just made them more sore. I think this is all to do with his breathing as the nose, ears and mouth are all connected.
He has no discharge or anything, he just sounds like he’s a bit blocked up
Before you start trying random herbs you need to figure out the cause of his discomfort.
And dogs do snore by the way. normal. What is not normal is disharge or smells or things like that. But regular snoring is not a big deal.
Go back to the vet and have him checked out. then go from there.
